Under Our Thumb

Human greed connects the dots of the crises we are all experiencing, including environmental, social, and medical global catastrophes. The shadow of the climate crisis looms over every aspect of life on our planet, and that shadow is here transformed into the thumbprint pressing down on us, as we and our colonial forebearers have pressed down on Earth's lands, waters, resources and other lives, both human and other. Materials include stained glass mosaic, acrylic paint, and colored grout.
