Bluegrass Art

I love Bluegrass music! So when I saw this old discarded and badly handmade banjo at a flea market, I knew I had to save it and that it was my next project. Materials include stained glass, tiles, beads, vintage tiles and some found items on the body of the banjo. On the neck, I used the existing and still decent strings to weave some fabric art to the piece, merging my love for both the mosaic and weaving mediums. This was total fun!
